We ofter a Winter-only livery, at Redbrook Farm, as over the years we have found that this is needed by clients who want to move horses off their own fields. This prevents horses from living in waterlogged conditions, and enables wet and muddy fields to rest during these 4 months, and re-seeding of the land. Other clients do not want to ride their horses for various reasons, over these worst 4 months in the British weather, so remove their shoes and send them to us at Redbrook.

They are hay fed and checked daily for any issues and reported to the owner. The land at Redbrook is 40 acres of grassland with gravel below the land, so it remains very dry throughout the winter. It is all very flat land and it can be accessed from the main A338 (see map) so easy for visiting owners to attend to. The weekly costs including hay feeding is 28 pw. Horse can also be given haylage 24/7 if extra feeding is required. There is no riding on or from the land, so it is a great opportunity to rest your horses and ponies.
