We breed and produce our own young horses from 13.2 hh - 15.3
hh at Newlands Farm, from quality brood mares.
We produce quality, all-round riding and competition horses
and ponies, for all members of the family to enjoy.
We have found that the best breeds of horse to
suit this description are: Full and Part-bred New Forest ponies, Irish Draught x TB, Connemara,
and Connemara x TB. We have ancient commoning rites onto the New Forest, and produce both Stud-bred and Forest-bred ponies, who are born and kept on the Farm, (130 acres) & the Forest.

Has hunted and placed when out show jumping this week, good kind allrounder. 100% to handle, box, catch and farrier etc - a well mannered pony. Suit teenager or adult. Rider in the photo is 5'9". Hacks alone or in company on the open forest. Nice kind forward going pony with brakes!

MARKSMAN, her dam is ID X TB by Kuwait Beach. She has
stunning straight movement and is very easy to do and
handle. She was lightly backed last autumn, hacked out on Forest and then turned out; she is now ready to start again.
She is good with travelling, to bath and with
the farrier, no vices.Very well marked with no blemishes.
She was a 1st foal, and she is going to make between 15hh

He has a super straight extravegant movement, which makes him a definite BYRDS BD pony for the future. He has started competeing at unaffiliated Dressage, and popping over logs on the open Forest when hacking out. He has a good
