Newlands Farm, Stud & Livery

This type of livery package we offer for clients who wish to look after their own horse. Our staff feed all Full Livery and
Assisted DIY Livery horses the mornings. The horse is brought into its stable before 5pm each day and a hay net put
in. This Assisted Livery includes all the same uses of our facilities available as our Full Liveries enjoy. It also includes
the supply of straw bedding and haylage and feed in the cost.

Among our facilites is the superb 60 x 20 m 'EuroFibre'-surface Menage, and indoor Horsewalker - shown below.

The stabled Liveries are housed in horse - friendly American Barn stables. Horses are able to look
out of their individual windows into the fresh air, as well as looking into the central isle. All our boxes
have sliding doors, automatic water supply and rubber mat floor protection, beneath their bedding.

 


We have a 20 x 60 metre international size school with a full set of show jumps. The staff and owners often arrange pub rides, and specialist trainers to come in to give individual or group training.

We use the horse walker to exercise the stabled horses when necessary - for example when a horse is returning to work after injury, or when the weather doesnt permit us to turn the horses out into paddocks.

Newlands Farm Workroom

We have a useful workroom for storage of rugs etc as well being used for w.c. drinks and rest area. There is a separate secure tack room.

The stabled horses are turned out in 1 to 4 acre fields, with electric tape fencing for their protection. They are turned out in very small groups, and we can happily provide individual turn-out if required.

Our footpath is fenced to keep walkers and the horses secure :
